Jacqueline Martin

Community Impact Ambassador

Jacqueline Martin is an advocate, leader, and proud disability rights champion from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. Living with a disability herself, she has turned her personal experiences into a powerful platform to support and uplift others. Currently, Jacqueline serves as the Community Partners Coordinator for the BC Epilepsy Society, a role that allows her to work alongside others to create meaningful change for people living with neurological disabilities.

Her journey of advocacy began at a young age, when she teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Association to help create an anti-bullying program for high school students. Since then, her passion for community work has only grown. After moving to British Columbia, she founded a nonprofit organization to combat homelessness, which later merged with a larger organization in Burnaby.

Throughout her career, Jacqueline has dedicated herself to fighting for the rights of people with disabilities, the homeless, and other marginalized groups. Her work has not gone unnoticed, earning her honors like the Sovereign’s Medal, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and a spot on the WXN Top 100 Women list.

As a Community Impact Ambassador for the Pageant Voices Alliance, Jacqueline is focused on using her voice and influence to help others share their stories, create awareness, and drive real-world change. She believes in accountability, integrity, and honesty and is committed to being a force for good, both within her community and beyond.
