Introducing Melanie Quimson PVA Brand and Advocacy Ambassador for Pageant Voices Alliance!

Melanie is a passionate educator and community leader who has spent over 10 years helping students of all ages achieve their goals. As a doctoral candidate in Educational Research, she’s breaking new ground by focusing on how to support immigrant adult learners and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in education. Her work has taken her to international stages, including the prestigious International Summer Program in Beijing, where she shared ideas on education, science, and leadership as a session chair.

Melanie’s advocacy work is just as inspiring. After being crowned, Ms. Calgary 2024 and now Ms. Canada World 2024, she’s using her voice to create real change. Her focus on mental health, women’s empowerment, and education has led her to partner with Pageant Voices Alliance (PVA) on impactful initiatives, like Thanksgiving outreach, and to collaborate with organizations that share her mission to make a difference.

As an educator, She introduced the first-ever Filipino Language and Culture option for junior high students in Alberta, helping to promote multicultural understanding and pride. She’s also deeply involved in organizations like Filipinos Rising and the Philippine Cultural Center Foundation, where she continues to be a strong advocate for social justice and cultural heritage.

Melanie’s vision aligns perfectly with PVA’s mission of advocacy, empowerment, and inclusivity. Her passion, drive, and dedication make her a powerful ambassador for the change we all want to see.
